Connect on LinkedInMajor General (Ret.) Simeon G. Trombitas served 37 years in the US Army after graduating with the West Point Class of 1978. He completed three tours with the 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne).
He commanded the Iraqi National Counter-Terrorism Force Transition Team, later served as Commander of US Army South, and finished his active-duty career as Senior Defense Attache at the US Embassy in Mexico City.
He is Chairman Emeritus of the Green Beret Foundation.
