Brian is a decorated Marine, High Threat Protection security professional, and Subject Matter Expert on Human Behavior Pattern Recognition & Analysis. He's spent 17 years running real-world and training operations across the United States, the Middle East, and Central and East Asia. Whether he's on the battlefield, in a classroom, or at a board meeting, he adapts.
In the Marine Corps, Brian served as a Scout/Sniper with multiple combat deployments to Al Anbar Province during the height of counterinsurgency operations. As a team leader, he ran hundreds of combat and training missions. He was meritoriously promoted ahead of his peers three separate times.
After the Marine Corps, Cubic Applications hired Brian as a Tactics Analyst at the Infantry Immersive Trainer (IIT) aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton. He trained thousands of Marines on tactical decision-making during live-fire exercises, and supported Office of Naval Research and Pacific Science and Engineering studies on the Combat Hunter program.
Brian also worked as a security contractor for the U.S. State Department's High Threat Protection program, personally protecting hundreds of U.S. Government personnel in Iraq and Afghanistan. He led small teams on sensitive protection operations.
As a Senior Instructor and Team Leader at Orbis Operations, Brian taught Advanced Situational Awareness and HBPR&A to Tier One military clients, conventional forces, and the private sector. At Orbis he trained hundreds of law enforcement professionals including US Border Patrol, DEA, ICE, TSA, and US Marshals.
Brian holds an MS in Applied Psychology from the University of Southern California and a BS in Political Science from Arizona State University. He serves the veteran community as an Ambassador for Carry The Load and a board member of Crusades 22.
